Wellington Town U12s 3, Watchet Town U12s 4
In a thrilling top-of-the-table clash, Wellington Town U12s found themselves trailing 4-0 after just 35 minutes in what seemed a one-sided affair, despite the home team having numerous chances including a strong shot from Cass Letten which hit the post.
However, in the last 20 minutes, Wellington launched a remarkable fightback.
Felix Emes sparked hope with a well-placed finish, followed by another goal from forward Charlie McAlpine.
Cass Letten then made it 4-3 with a composed strike, setting up a tense finish.
Theo Oaten, playing in both defence and midfield, was instrumental in the revival and earned the man-of-the-match award for his relentless energy and leadership throughout the game.
Despite falling just short, Wellington’s fighting spirit kept the supporters on their feet until the final whistle.
