Our first team’s hopes of playing their fourth successive home game tonight (Wednesday, October 16th) have been dashed by the weather.

After heavy rain, the Playing Field pitch failed an afternoon inspection meaning the cancellation of our fixture against Ilfracombe Town in the premier division of the Jewson Western League.

The Tangerines had been looking to extend their winning run after making it three victories in eight days by beating Shepton Mallet 2-1 on Saturday.

We were also looking to complete the double over Ilfracombe, having beaten them 2-1 on the opening day of the season.

The lads are back on the road this Saturday (October 19th) with a trip to Brislington, who won promotion to the premier division last season.
